Pros
• Located right on Bang Tao Beach, good atmosphere where visitors can experience beautiful sunsets in the evening.
• The hotel area is very quiet.
• Attractive, spacious rooms.
• Firm bed with several pillows.
• Complete set of facilities, which include hair dryer, security safe, ironing board, slippers, and bathroom amenities.
• Fast internet
• The breakfast buffet offering is diverse and tastes good.
Cons
• Pillows are a bit flat.
• Rooms are not effectively soundproofed.
Personally, we quite liked the experience while staying at the SAii Laguna Phuket, from the complimentary cookies and dried fruit in the lobby, staff service, the ambiance, tranquility, and the quality of the breakfast are reasonable.
The only drawback for us is that the rooms were not effectively soundproofed, especially the rooms on the ground floor where you can clearly hear guests walking and moving chairs around. If you are sensitive to sound, choosing the upper floors is highly recommended.
There are several room types at the SAii Laguna Phuket, with rates ranging from 9,000 – 25,000 baht per night. Try comparing rates first before making a reservation, at;

Ambiance
The Lagoon View room
Even though the Lagoon View room is the most basic room type at the SAii Laguna Phuket, it is still about 43 square meters, attractively decorated in a classic style, but doesn’t look too outdated. Luxuriously reasonable.
Cleanliness
Flawlessly clean.
Sleep Quality
The bed was firm and not too deflated. Several pillows were available, and the air conditioner temperature was constant, ensuring a good sleep. However, the pillows were quite flat and should not be for anyone who likes high pillows.
Another point to mention is the fact that the rooms were not effectively soundproofed. If you are assigned a lower-level room, you could clearly hear guests on the upper floors walk or move furniture around.
Bathroom
The bathroom was spacious, and the shower area was designed as a small pond-like tub below ground level that can double as a bathtub or normal shower.
Warm water is easy to use and gave out a constant temperature with no long waits for the water to heat up.
Power Outlets
Three-prong sockets (Type A, B, C and O), ideally located near desks, headboards, and coffee tables.
Working Desk
Available, where you can place your laptop to facilitate your work.
Internet
Fast, strong, and easy to connect to.
Breakfast
International breakfast is served at the Locavore Restaurant, and consists of choices of noodles, Har gow, beans and cereals, egg station, sausages, bread, bakery items, salads, cheese, and fresh fruits. Self-service coffee is available at the coffee machine.
Overall, the food was rather standard, but the highlight was the soft smoked salmon which came with a mild smoky aroma. There was also a wide selection of various types of cheeses, and premium nuts such as cashews, hazelnuts, and pistachios.
Other Facilities
Swimming Pool
Outdoor swimming pool by the sea with a medium-size slider.
Fitness Center
Not very spacious but can simultaneously accommodate at least 15 guests comfortably. Several exercise equipment to choose from.
Restaurants
Miss Olive Oyl
Serves Mediterranean, seafood, and grilled dishes, with a variety of wines. The restaurant’s main focus is on organic ingredients that should cater well to health-conscious guests.
Mr. Tomyam
Ideally located on the beach and emphasizes on providing a wide variety of Thai cuisine flavors combined with Western menu items, such as Kee Mao Spaghetti (stir-fried spicy pasta), Red Curry Pizza, or Caesar Salad and Chicken Satay.
But simple menus such as hamburgers or stir-fried basil are also available.
Locavore
Restaurant serves breakfast buffets and simple meals throughout the day.
